1. 0-4°C Aged Iberiko Katsu $19.80+

Rice is free flow!

What is white curry you may ask? It’s Japanese curry mixed together with Hokkaido milk to form white curry! Tengawa also sells the Hokkaido milk rather than tumeric that they use in their curry for $7+. Taste wise, the curry is smoother with a creamy like texture.2018-07-01 19.37.252018-07-01 19.18.23

The aged iberiko katsu is layered with accumulations of thick juicy pork meat with a layer of fats sandwiched between golden brown bread crumbs. The meat has a subtle and yet delicate taste.2018-07-01 19.18.08

Dip the katsu into the white curry, and you will be treated with a melt in the mouth satisfying experience.

2. Volcano Spicy Iberiko Pork Ramen $16.80+

Why Iberiko pork? It is highly marbled and juicy which makes it the most “highly sought after premium pork” from Southwestern Spain.2018-07-01 19.21.10

The Volcano Soup Iberiko Pork Ramen comes with a generous portion of thinly-sliced Iberico pork belly, an ramen egg, a slice of seaweed and spoonful of volcano goodness!

Are your brave enough to venture to the “top” of the “”volcano” ?

I was told by my other friends that it was very spicy and it indeed was too spicy for my dining partner, I suggest separating the portion of chilli and try eating the ramen first. If you can tolerate the spiciness, then go for it and mix it all in evenly!

The clam soup was very appetizing and it was nice to know that it is free-flow too!

Overall : The Iberico pork katsu simply hits the spot for me, as I’m a huge fan of the crispy exterior and the juicy pork marbling. The ramen on the other hand, tasted more ordinary but if you love spicy foods, this might be the dish for you!
