Located just 5 minutes walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT, is Monster Curry’s newest outlet at Downtown Gallery. Did you know that Monster Curry is the only Japanese restaurant in Singapore to server a “demi-glace” curry sauce, marked by a rich and deeply flavourful brown sauce. Their curry sauces are cooked for up to 5 hours and mixed with various spices and vegetables to give it an umami flavour!
I’ve tried other Japanese curry offerings and I always turn back to Monster Curry to satisfy my Japanese curry cravings as I am happy to say, their gourmet curry is addictive and I’m spoilt for choices when it comes to succulent cuts of golden fried pork, chicken or beef!
Check out their latest offerings of honey toasts, pasta and even ramen! Did you know you could get your favourite monster curry offerings now with RAMEN! The honey toast is served between 2-6pm all days and is topped with Häagen-Dazs ice cream!

When Cupid Strikes $29.80++
When Cupid Strikes $29.80++ looks so cute with 2 heart-shaped fluffy pearl rice, it almost looks like those fake food displayed at the entrance of Monster Curry! Served with Salmon, sausages, tempura prawn, crisp garden salad and breaded oyster. The pink curry is made out of dragon fruit, a natural ingredient which is often considered a tropical “superfood”. Dragon fruit is high in vitamin C and contains strong anti-aging properties!
They curry itself was a tad less salty than their normal Monster Curry sauce. The health benefits of the Dragon Fruit made me scoop my plate clean of the curry sauce! The colours are also very bright and insta-grammable.
This dish is highly recommended for salmon lovers out there! The crispy salmon fry is so damn good!
For desserts, Monster Curry has specially curated more dragon fruit creations in their sweet treats menu!
Love Potion $6.80++
Be spelled with this cute pink drink, beautifully decorated with sugary hearts! I love that this drink wasn’t sweet at all, I finished it all to the last drop! You can taste the legit fresh dragon fruit blended into this smoothie!
Sweet Romance Honey Toast $10.80++ (Highly Recommended)
Made with golden honey toast cubes, fresh dragon fruit, strawberry, mango, heart-shaped marshmallows, complemented with Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream, generously drizzled with raspberry sauce and crowned with whipped cream!
If you haven’t tried their honey toast, I strongly recommend you do! They’re light and fluffy on the inside, and it’s because they soak each cube into milk. This allows the bread cubes to absorb the milk and carry a light milky flavour.
Overall : I love that Monster Curry is trying to add more interesting flavours to their curry and I cannot wait to see this dragon fruit curry offered on their regular menu!
Thank you Monster Curry for the invite.
